As you arrive in Athens, the vibrant capital of Greece, you'll be met at the airport by a friendly representative who will escort you to your awaiting private car. Enjoy the comfortable transfer to your hotel, soaking in the sights of this historic city along the way. Upon arrival at your Athens hotel, take some time to settle in and relax after your journey. You might want to explore the immediate surroundings of your hotel or indulge in a delicious meal at a local taverna. Overnight in Athens, ready to embark on your Greek adventure.

Your day begins with a fascinating journey through the ancient wonders of Athens. At approximately 8 a.m., you'll be greeted by your guide for a Half-Day Athens City Tour. Delve into the rich history and architectural marvels of this iconic city as you visit landmarks such as the majestic temple of the Olympian Zeus, the solemn Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and the historic Pan Athenaeum stadium. Of course, the highlight of the tour is a visit to the iconic Acropolis, where you'll marvel at the Parthenon and absorb the breathtaking views of Athens below. After the tour, you'll be transferred back to your hotel, where you can reflect on the day's discoveries and perhaps venture out to explore more of Athens at your leisure. Overnight in Athens, with memories of ancient splendor fresh in your mind.

Today marks the beginning of your island adventure as you bid farewell to Athens and set off for the enchanting island of Skopelos. After being picked up from your hotel, you'll enjoy a scenic private car transfer to the airport for your flight to Skiathos (please note that the economy class flight is not included in the package rate). Upon arrival in Skiathos, you'll be met and transferred to the port, where you'll board a ferry for the picturesque journey to Skopelos. Upon arrival at the island, another transfer will take you to your hotel, where you can unwind and soak in the tranquil island atmosphere. Overnight in Skopelos, ready to explore the charms of this idyllic destination.

The next five days are yours to savor at your own pace. Enjoy lazy mornings soaking up the Mediterranean sun, leisurely strolls through charming villages, and exploration of the island's hidden gems. Dive into the crystalline waters of secluded beaches, sample delicious local cuisine at traditional tavernas, or embark on optional excursions, such as the Mamma Mia Highlights Tour (not included in the package rate), to discover the filming locations of the beloved movie. Whether you choose to relax by the poolside, embark on island-hopping adventures, or immerse yourself in the local culture, Skopelos offers endless opportunities for relaxation and exploration.

Our day sets off at 09.00 driving along the West coast of the island and then across to visit the beautiful Saint John’s Chapel also known as the MAMMA MIA! wedding church. There you get some free time to walk up the 199 steps or to enjoy a soft drink in the nearby coffee place. Later
you will learn about Skopelos olive oil, making a short stop at the Antonio family olive press.

Our next stop is at Kastani beach for more information about the film and some relaxation. The final stop will be at Agnontas beach where you can swim in the crystal-clear waters or to enjoy lunch in one of the seaside taverns. Returning from this area we will see from some distance the
cape of Amarantos, the so-called site of the 3 trees.

The return time to Skopelos town will be around 15:00.

Please bring with you beach wear, flat shoes, sun cream and money for purchasing drinks and lunch.

MAMMA MIA HIGHLIGHTS 2024

As your time on Skopelos comes to an end, it's time to bid farewell to the island and make your way back to Athens. After breakfast at your hotel, you'll be transferred to the port for your return journey to Skiathos. From there, you'll catch a flight back to Athens (please note that the economy class flight is not included in the land package rate). Upon arrival in Athens, you'll be met and transferred to your hotel, where you can enjoy your final evening in Greece's bustling capital. Reflect on the memories made during your island retreat and perhaps indulge in a delicious farewell dinner at a local taverna. Overnight in Athens, cherishing the experiences of your Greek odyssey.

As your Greek adventure draws to a close, it's time to bid farewell to Athens. After breakfast, you'll be met at your hotel and transferred to Athens International Airport for your onward journey. Take one last look at the iconic landmarks and bustling streets of this historic city as you head home, carrying with you cherished memories of your time in Greece. End of services, but the beginning of a lifetime of unforgettable travel experiences.
